The weather is really bad… the “POLICE” sign appears to be retreating into the building and now we have five unmarked decoy cars! Do marked decoy cars have “DECOY” on the sides?

Mordred’s known to have associates? Since when? And it’s about time these yutzes thought about the weather. Now are those five decoy cars (with three or four decoy Mordreds) taking the same route as Thick?

And a hearty ho ho ho. Love that spokeless steering wheel.

In panels three and five, if hes so worried about Dick and the weather why doesnt he go out there and make sure hes okay? Why doesnt he phone him on the wrist geenee? You know, do something to make sure this man doesnt botch everything up! Oh wait, thats asking too much from them. Do they even leave the station anymore? Maybe Dick is so sick of his job he messes everything up on purpose.

What is going on here? Locher has wasted a week backtracking and hasnt even gotten to the point where he left off with the four flat tires? I thought we were supposed to do a recap and then see whats coming up ahead, we dont see anything we havent seen already and nothing is coming up besides more singing from Mordred.

Wait, how is Mordred singing? I thought he was sedated. Shouldnt he be muttering nonsense if he can talk?

And how is Dick driving like that? Is he driving with one arm leaned to the side? Very unsafe way to drive if you ask me, especially during a storm. Maybe that should be the next Crime Stoppers Textbook entry. ’Dont lean to the side and drive with one arm during a snow storm. Its unsafe.’ And why is Mordred wearing a gray suit? I thought it was orange.

If he has associates who are likely to help him, then this decoy scheme is superbly dumb. The sort of cover you want here isn’t a rainstorm, it’s a bunch of cops with weapons, body armor and open eyes.

Meanwhile, what’s up between Testicle Chin and Officer Androgynous, whose hair matches TC’s coat?

Perhaps it will now be five cars with flat tires, maybe even six… One never knows anymore.

Mordred has associates. And if they do real well, they’ll be promoted to assistants!

The car has changed shape again. Now it appears to be a three door hatchback of some sort.

How is that wheel even attached to the car?

There’s two possibilities:

The “Cop ahead” is signaling about multiple cars with multiple flat tires…but that was weeks ago, so Locher is senile. The “Cop ahead” is signaling about something that’s mutually-exclusive to the flat-tire obstacle we’ve already been told about…so Locher is senile.

And there is no way to decide between the two possibilities.

Serial killers normally have one MO. They stick to it and perfect it. Perhaps Mordred’s MO is to block intersections and kill people who take alternate routes. His associates have become copycat killers, each choosing a different intersection.

Unmarked decoy cars. How do any potential attackers tell them from all other unmarked cars? Why should any attackers even notice them? They’d have their eyes on official vehicles. The purpose of a decoy is to attract attention!

He’s known to have Associates? Oh, I get it. He’s J.C.Penney! HA HA HA HO HO HA!

Do they even make printers that use that fan-fold paper with sprocket holes in the side any more?

You could probably buy one with a fresh, crisp $1,000 bill!

Maybe Spacy could ask Mordred if he does requests. Spacy could ask him to sing “Chains”.

Remarkably, both the sheriff and that little boardpecker in the textbook look quite human.

We’ll NEVER see or hear from the decoy cars ever again. Locher’s continuity issues strike again!

Since they did not inform Thick that Moredred has associates, it is safe to assume, the authorities want Thick Spacy dead

Eyes on your neck, eyes from the front, staring, assessing you?

I tell you, in all this confusion it’s those slatted yellow dashboard dials that frighten me. They look just like another pair of Mordred’s ‘focused’ eyes summing up opportunities.

Then those unmarked decoy cars (with look alike actors), nobody has seen them, how can they deflect any threat if we and/or the bad guys cant see them ? All said players remain “off camera”. Nowhere in sight ? Do they exist ? And Lizz has thrown the Kitchen Sink at the problem, increasing decoy cars and actors 3 now - up to five !

And poor Sam can’t get in any action. His leg chain, is locked right there in HQ. So he plays the ‘quip’ man - just stroking his testicle chin and getting satisfaction from vocalizing as the Prophet of Doom

Then, were those four cars with the flat tires, decoy vehicles disabled by Mordred’s forces ? We don’t know !

Locher has done a masterful job of foreshadowing the existence of background forces (good and evil), but not the slightest pictorial hint that they are on the ‘move’ or indeed, that they DO exist (?) Maybe we have just another “NOTHING” caper, one ‘purged’ with Teevo magic, words lacking body or substance, while the Artist slips a frail script and yet another Faceless Villain across the pages of the comic strip.

Time for Dicky to pick up a little more of (his), what makes the World ‘go round’, and show us something beyond repetition and unending rain and ‘small talk’.

Yeah,they’re right about that. A predator reached thru the monitor and grabbed my kid about 5 years ago–Haven’t seen him since. I guess he’s somewhere in cyber space.

We still use those things where I work. They print out our manifests on them. The dot-matrix system is old as the hills and twice as dusty, but it’s the only printer that can do carbon copy printing on NCR paper. Laserjets and Inkjets can’t do it.
