Transcript:
Alice: "I've invited the epergne over for a tea party," says Mrs. Weekin. "Oh, no! I hate that guy!" says Mr. Weekin. "Hey! I heard that!" says the epergne. "And boy, am I mad!" The enrgaged epergne picks up the Weekins and carries them to the edge of the carpet, where he throws them in the boiling lava! "That was the worst tea party of all time!" says Mr. Weekin. Then he sinks into the lava.

The sad tale of the Weekins vs. the epergne…

The Weekin tea party was fated to have a tragic end, and yet how we all watched with bated breath as they careened toward their fate! Oh, their lava-ey fate!!

Apparently it turned into a robot without any bending required.
It’s funny, I just learned the word “epergne” for the first time 2 days ago, and I got a gift catalogue in the mail today that has one in it. Not as nice as Alice’s though! (And spell check doesn’t recognize “epergne” for some reason…)

I continually had my army men falling off cliffs. What else does one do with the back of the couch or the sides of a bathtub?

When I was little (even into my teens) I pretended to have magic scissors to cut out things for family and friends. I also played with my blocks and marbles as city walls and people that were realistic, because I never had more than 2 dolls and 2 stuffed animals in my chaildhood.

Remind me to be careful if I ever invite any of Alice’s toys to a tea party!
