It seems to me I asked the same question myself. It was a new manner of speaking at the time about our affects on the environment and a lot of people got the answer wrong. We all know better, now.
Carbon footprint-wise, I’m an 18-1/2 EEEE. Enjoy your glacier water, future generations. Bwa-ha-ha. And to think of all that effort all those Bond villains went to trying to destroy civilization. They shoulda just stayed in bed. It’ll take care of itself.
The earth’s population has doubled in my lifetime. That and the developed world encouraging development (sales/consumerism) in the developing world has really put us all in a squeeze. Something terrible is going to happen to this planet and us with it yet we go merrily on our way. Even if you don’t believe in global warming do you believe in disease, pestilence, starvation, mass population displacement and the wars that are associated with all of it?
