Why do people even care if some TV show is “real”?
Sitcoms and dramas aren’t real…Soap Operas certainly aren’t real, or even realistic. Who cares if “reality programs” are real?
It’s sort of like “fast food”… it really isn’t all that fast. In fact, none of those restaurants call it fast food, we’re the ones who gave it that name. And the official name for “reality” shows is “Unscripted”.
In other words, the audience set up the expectations of “reality TV” and “fast food”, not the respective industries…

Years ago I video taped wrestling ,then played it back at a slower speed. You could really tell the fake stuff then!
