I agree, Ruthie. That little brat needs an attitude ajustment. OBH is always such a fun strip- I have to try Wapo now for Sundays. Not always easy to get to that page.
How sad that little kids fight like that nowadays. They just mimic what they see adults do. (Though what the heck going to church has to do with it is beyond me. Are they teaching etiquette these days?)
In today’s current day version of OBH there is a comic crossover in which Joey and Ruthie’s grandfather meets the grandfather in Pickles among other senior citizens. I always felt that Mr Pickles is a standin for OMH’s grandfather
