For me, pumpkin spice is for pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and Christmas, with perhaps some pumpkin bread somewhere in between. Other than that, I would rather not even hear about it.
Let’s go to the bank and take out a loan and then go buy an ugly cup of whatever. I’ve never been in a starbucks….never will. Just goes to show you can fool a lot of people all the time. Idiots.
When this kind of stuff shows up way too early, I just roll my eyes, let out a big sigh, and move on. As long as there’s money to be made, it will never change. Commerce rules!

I’d prefer a nice Shamrock shake myself, but I’ll have to wait until next year !

And we talk about Christmas Creep, where Santa comes out earlier every year. Now it’s Autumn Creep, as well, with a month of summer left to go.
By the time you actually want the stuff, it will be sold out.

You do realize there is not any pumpkin in the syrup Starbucks uses. Even the canned pumpkin is not pumpkin. Just sounds better than a squash pie.
