Gosh, I’m here early! Hmm, if I were a troll I’d scream in capital letters SIXTH!!! But I’m not a troll so I’ll will savor the comic strip even more than usual since I have time. (I missed the midnight deadline and haven’t read half my comics, so I’m catching up.)
Oh no! Tommy’s been bitten! Why do the undead keep insisting on turning our favorite cuddly reporters into more vampires? RUN BURT, RUN BABA! SAVE YOURSELVES BEFORE THE UNDEAD GET YOU TOO! I expect the robber mice can well defend themselves against the undead.
Tre-C looked down at Hector; “I’m not sure how comfortable you’re going to be… I’ve never carried a mouse before. Well, not for transportation, anyway.” “Tre-C! Are you blushing?” Hector knew what cats do, and he didn’t mind one bit rubbing it in. And Tre-C was clearly just a little bit uncomfortable with the situation. “You know, I can move fairly well. I mean, for a mouse.” “Yeah,” Tre-C replied, “but with your legs, even with Megan’s stream it’d take us a week to get back to the deli…” Hector kept trying to sway Tre-C; “It’s a pretty day, kid. You sure you don’t just want to walk? I hate that thing, anyway…” “OK, OK… I’m gonna need to know the neighborhood, and this is as good a time to start as any.” And Tre-C added to herself; “and you’re right, Hector- it is a lovely day.” Just then, Hector jumped on Tre-C’s back and snuggled down. “Hey, I asked if YOU wanted to walk…”
Haha! Georgia Dunn corn feed, Baba Mouse and her broom, and Robber Mice! I love it! Happy Caturday everyone! And if Shaunnmunn is reading this ((((((((((((((((((((((((Shaunn’s beautiful orb))))))))))))))))))))))))) I shall write you back as soon as I can lovely! Another ton of errands and house cleaning to do today. I get more rest at work, I swear!!
Good morning everyone! PLEASE refrain from comments about characters, plot lines, etc so we don’t spoil the fun & excitement for the newbies that are reading this for the 1st time! Remember that feeling of excitement & curiosity as we waited for the next installment? We were crazy with anticipation, especially when it was only twice a week; those cliffhangers on Thursdays were excruciating! Let’s let the newbies have that same experience!!
Just speculation so hopefully no spoiler. It’s so much fun to see Baba Mouse finally! I wonder if any of our cat reporters have interviewed Baba Mouse? Having so much fun imagining Tabitha talking with Baba Mouse! 8)
Good morning and happy Caturday, orbsters and orbabies! Special shout out to ((((((((((Shaunnmunn))))))))))! You are loved and missed! I am so glad we have finally met Baba Mouse (Georgia, is her name based on the legendary Baba Yaga?) and the robber mice. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Hugs, bumps and boops to all!
Look at the difference between Tommy’s top fangs showing 1dismay and Baba’s lower fangs showing aggression/irritation. How many times has someone here said, Georgia is a genius?
When this first ran, Georgia commented that she based Baba Mouse partly on Mouse, a grumpy cat she knew as a child and Baba Yaga, a character she loved. And thank you for the bit about the chicken legs! I didn’t know that
Loving thoughts and prayers dear Mega Orb! So hope all are well or getting assistance and support if needed. You are, each and every one, precious and crucial to this forum. I love you, and always will! >^.,.^<
I got my calendars yesterday! (One is for a friend.) High adorbs on it! The picture for July is perfect and December is heartwarming. I highly recommend it!
I’m so excited to read everyone’s reaction to Baba Mouse! I’ve missed writing with this ol’ gal SO MUCH!!! (And of course the mice as well, but I won’t say too much on them just yet!) Ahh! It feels so nice when the characters return—for me too! I have so many headlines planned around these ‘new’ little folks!
Babushka (accent on the BA) means grandmother in Russian. I wonder if Americans call the scarf a lot of Russian grandmothers wear ba BOOSH ka by association. It’s always struck me as strange.

Good to see Georgia has her own brand of animal feed, too. And good thing Baba Mouse is there to guard it.

I keep wanting to make some connection between Baba Mouse and Baba Yaga. She could chase mice in a barn on chicken legs.
McColl34 Premium Member about 6 years ago
I get the feeling that if she wanted to, she could do a lot more to them than say, “GIT,” and sweep at them.
McColl34 Premium Member about 6 years ago
Burt, don’t sass Baba Mouse. You will regret it.

Four cute mice, four cute mice
See how they steal, see how they steal.
They all went after the bags of feed
But Baba said no, you do not need,
To mess with the bags of Georgia ’s seeds.
Go steal some cheese.
