Why negative? In many ways, US ‘journalism’ is a mystery to me!

Won’t be her first dose of negative press. That was how she lost her job in LA.

Journalism would report the positives of health care and homeless. Our church also helps sponsor health care on wheels in the poor country.

NEWS STORY. ALL GOTP/POT StatesAttorney General have filed a lawsuit to stop the provision that health insurance corps really hate. The lawsuit? to get rid of the law outlawing PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS. Why, other than having been bought by the HI industry, would they want to get rid of what everyone who has HIreally wants to keep?

The “PRESS” may be negative… because it is mostly pundits expressing vitriolic hyperbole to rile up contingents on whatever side of the political system they reside. However, real JOURNALISM does exist in the US. Real journalists are amazing and wonderful folks who deliver real, unbiased, factual NEWS.

I also think that unfortunately, the “negative press” that is described is very, very sadly based on the idea that there is an unfortunately large contingent of folks who are not empathetic nor compassionate about homelessness. Some folks are of a social and political mindset where they have a world view akin to….. “tough for them, let them just die out, don’t bother me or take anything from me to be of service to anyone else”.
