I remember “coloring” my Etch a Sketch screen so that none of the silver was left. I wanted too see what it looked like inside. I remember that the tool that draws looked just like a Hershey’s Kiss.
When I was a kid my mother put my Etch-A-Sketch on top of our toaster oven when I was eating. It melted. I still ‘guilt’ her about it 50 some odd years later.

Actually, in general the output from pda’s is not that much different in either lasting value or inventiveness than from Etch-A-Sketch.
