Very nice homage. Simon had some really entertaining plays (which I never saw) turned into movies that I loved. Mr. Simon, make sure you stop by The Houseboat on the Styx. Good company there.
I knew you’d do this today, Michael. Really great. The only time I laughed harder at anything than a Simon play was at an early Robin Williams concert. Simon was the quintessential king of comedy writing, and his production of plays and musicals was prodigious. I love this guy’s work. RIP, great one. Look around Heaven and figure who you’re going to cast as an odd couple—you’ve got plenty from whom to choose. Just show some sweet charity!

They say famous people die in threes. Aretha Franklin, John McCain and now Neil Simon. R.I.P.
