The tilt stays roughly the same all the time with a little bit of precession. What he really wants is for the Earth to stay at the same place in its orbit. That may actually be what he is saying though, can’t tell.
Mansplain alert: The Equinoxes are those times when the tilt hits the two perfect spots that we are perpendicular to our orbit. Without the progressive wobble our tilt provides there simply would be no yearly seasons. Life would have evolved differently, if at all. Seasons mean challenges and evolution needs challenges.
What he’s really wishing for is for all the rules of physics to kneel and bow down before him mightiness. Well, why not just go all the way and wish to be . . . well, I could use the name but then you’d have to stone me to death.
Actually, it wouldn’t be great. At least, we would not notice it as great. We never think it is great that we have the amount of gravity we have, it is just part of how things are. If we didn’t have seasonal changes we would never give it a thought.

Every action produces unforeseen consequences. These are often unnoticed too.

Arlo’s last comment reminds me of W. W. Jacob’s “The Monkey’s Paw.”

Our tilt is fairly constant, it’s the orbiting the sun wile rotating that keeps things interesting.

in “Universe Sandbox” if you remove the tilt you get a ice planet, with the whole planet covered with ice even the seas freeze solid.

Sorry Jimmy. The unintended consequence appears to be that folks just can’t enjoy the strip for what it is.

There are ALWAYS unintended consequences

It’s not the tilt of the Earth that is important, rather the tilt of his kilt.

For the northern hemisphere’s winter, the earth is closer to the sun!

It has been postulated that without earths tilt life would not have evolved.

The worst one being for the people on the other side of the planet.

Please note that with his arm he seems to be doing a vertical as in perpendicular to the plane of Earth’s orbit..

I’ve often said the same thing, except for me it’s more late September to early October.
