I don’t blame you Lily, I get very testy when I am hot! I don’t sweat on purpose and it makes me grumpy. Just ask my husband. However I have never resorted to kicking my dog. Don’t be a meanie, it’s not ladylike. :D

Call me crazy if want, but I LOVE summer. Hot weather doesn’t bother me at all. I’m actually disappointed that our weather forecast for Thursday and Friday (my days off his week) are only expected to be in the low to mid 70’s. I like it around 80°. Even up to 90° is okay if it isn’t humid. But so often, when it gets that warm, I hear people griping about how hot it is, and I’ll just come back at them saying, “Huh – I didn’t notice it was hot at all.” And it’s true. I tolerate heat very well. I hate cool weather and really, really hare cold weather. I hate needing to wear a coat and warm clothing.

The cats appear to be a bit warm.

I got on this morning and looked back at the posts I missed yesterday and saw what Neal Janzen posted about the soon to be three legged kitten. I applaud you for what you are doing. Apparently the man who left the injured kitten on your door step knew that you could take better care of it than he could and cared enough to leave it with you instead of just leaving it in a field to fend for itself. I hope this kitten has a long and happy life thanks to the start you are going to give it.

I’ve been looking after my sister’s dog. He’s a good dog for the most part. I certainly wouldn’t kick him like Lily did.
