Don’t blame Mrs. Godfrey for showing up when you say the wrong thing Nate, blame yourself. Seems to happen a lot, doesn’t it?

Finally, Mrs. Godfrey is not being stupid, unfair, tyrannical, condescending, or hypocritical!

So far she’s still asking questions, Nate still has a choice in the matter. I would handle it with humor: “Well Mrs. Godfrey I would love to, but with my finger banged up like it is half of my typing skills are gone along with it. And don’t even get me started on copy/paste.”

A research paper is not going to fill his need for physical activity.

When I need to fidget, I spin pens. There are plenty of internet tutorials. Of course, Nate can’t do that now.

Had a friend at one time — really nice woman. But in church she was foot swinger. For some reason I ALWAYS wound up within sight line of her foot and didn’t know it until it was too late. Once seen it cannot be unseen, it must be blocked…eyes diverted, covered, face turned WAY away. I must have looked like I was running from the police half the time….

That won’t give his body something to do!

You can offer that to nate, but you can’t force him to, besides, you already know his typical project shenanigans
