Peggy Lee, the singer, was born in 1920. This person in the strip is not her. The strip’s Peggy Lee said she started reading Gasoline Alley in 1918.

As of this writing, it’s late in the day on Sunday the 14th, and there is no sign of the Sunday installment of this strip as of yet. Hope everything is okay…..

Comics Kingdom had a Sunday strip for Pluggers, Shoe and Gasoline Alley – so ALL of those strips are still being published SOMEWHERE – but – for some odd reason – NOT at Go Comics!
