Well, at least it wasn’t Oscar like the Mayer wiener sausage distributor or the Eastern European con-man(?) in Arnold’s boarding house Kokoshka

Those lockers are way too big. Most kids get a tiny locker (if they get one at all), too small to store a winter coat. Double or triple decker, too, is the usual. So much fun dodging kids feet and legs when you get stuck with a middle or bottom locker.

Did Heart and Kat have a ‘Growth Spurt’ since yesterday. They both appear Longer and Thinner.

Looking back the height change is subtle. Today, wow! I guess they’re no longer little, little kids.

Not only that, Heart seems to be showing emotional maturity- she’s not going all raggy over the thought of competition from Kat. Even a little teasey at the way Kat is portraying the meet-up.

Seems like the much reviled Phlegm dream sequence was a way to open up a new era of Heart…middle school, taller, interested in boys. Time to grow up!

Welcome to middle school … not cute little kids any more. Unless Dean hasn’t grown up, yet …

I like the updates. It will inspire new storylines.

I LOVED the old Heart. Hope the new version is worth the change.
