    I can’t watch all those political talk shows. I need to laugh. My favorite shows are South Park, Family Guy and Simpsons. And Ancient Aliens who I WISH would make themselves known ASAP.

    The more you ignore, the more you crawl into your “happy place”, the more you act like a spoiled child, the worse the world will get. How about you grow up, find out what your own representatives are doing, decide who you can vote for to make a better world for your kids to grow up in, and then get out and work for them, or at least VOTE!!!!!

    The philosopher Epictetus taught that you should avoid troubling yourself about matters not within your control, and exert yourself toward things that are. (The book of Ecclesiastes has the same advice, BTW.) Maybe that’s only “dumb” with a college education, but it’s still excellent advice.
