Heart of the City by Steenz for September 27, 2018

I’m being reminded of 1987 movie “The Bewitching of Ben Wagner” where the titular character is late for class at his new school. He asks two jocks in the hallway where the classroom is. They tell him to go outside the school and find a green door.

Heart needs a class on drama?

Now this could be interesting.

Now she meets the middle school bad girl.

I smell trouble.

Uh Oh! The bad seed makes an appearance.

Ooooo, a cliff hanger….I predict that Dean will be the one who “rescues” her in the end.

I dunno….still getting used to this “older” Heart. Kind of surprised she didn’t stay the little girl she always was until the start of this school year. Will the humor still be as good as it always has been in her “little girlhood” or is it new story time a little sooner than it has been in the past strips? still good, for sure, but a different recipe, so to speak.

I don’t even remember if my first day of middle school involved a tour of the place. Probably all the trauma again.
