Today’s cartoon is worthy of the master and funny , but as usual on a Sunday but with extra panels and Jack breaking the fourth wall , Mr Andrew Capp is being his usual pesky annoying self the way we like him to be :o) have a nice day Cappers
Back in the day in my home bar if you yelled out for service you were cut off. Be the bar opened or closed. Might as well just leave cause you were not getting a drink any more that day.
When the bartender was busy I did not mind waiting my turn; but if the bartender wasn’t paying attention & not busy I’d let it be known I was ready for another!

It’s been many, many years since I’ve heard the barman’s call of: " Time, gentlemen, time ! ’Tis gone past the time ! Have ye no homes to go to ? "

Never hurts to ask. (Or does it?)

Andy has no dialogue in the last panel, so it appears he did leave quietly, albeit unwillingly.
