Though unlike in “Dead Heat” (1987) where the reanimated dead could just keep shooting at each other at point blank range and not fall. What will happen to our heroes?

Sam’s mug looks great in both panels and the left rearview in P. 1 is especially good.

The artwork and action are fantastic but the flow of the story is preposterous!

We know once the gun went flying out of Polar’s hand Pauly occupied himself by yaking away and doing a very bad Hulk imitation on a broom for 20 seconds in Tracyville time. Where does Pauly get the time to pick it up and whip out a second Nintendo game controller???

Shouldn’t Tracy be saying;

Drop them!???

“drop it” while shooting? not exactly really giving him a chance.

Pauly has been preparing his whole life to kill Tracy—I think he’s a nameless thug as far as Tracy is concerned. No record, no loyalty. I just think he’s a nobody with big dreams.

DAMN! That train sure came outta nowhere didnt it?

Is it just me, or has the pacing of this story line been weird?

Is it just me or does Pauly look like a Sam clone in frame 2?

So, my original theory as to whether or not that was really Tracy we saw yesterday turns out to be the correct one.

Pauly is missing Tracy like crazy – with multiple shots from two guns – wait a minute, didn’t PV say Pauly would kill Tracy if he got within 6 feet of him – the only explanation is that Tracy and Sam must be more than 6’ away…

Nyah, die Tracy, you filthy copper, nyah!

As Tanya (Marlene Dietrich) says to Quinlan (Orson Welles) in the classic Film-Noir, Touch of Evil, “Your future is all used up.”

Pauly gets taken down, then what? Do we locate Honeymoon and Crystal ? Does Polar Vortex deny any involvement and get away scot free? I think this story is just starting.

Why is Pauly’s face still in shadow? Will there still be some kind of big reveal of who he really is?

All your life?? How old is Dick, anyway?

Tracy’s in trouble unless Pauly’s shooting skills are at the level of Imperial storm troopers.

Tracy says “Drop it1” while firing? Is that a typical police “warning?”

Where did the axe come from and what is Sam chopping?

Polar’s “anti-Tracy” weapon…..is simply a GUY WITH A GUN?? Who will shoot him if he is dumb enough to get within 6 feet of him? I was kinda expecting something, uhhhh….more?And the guy has been waiting “all his LIFE for this”??? Like, he had no clue where Tracy was his entire life til now? (Sawtooth was such a great story previously, maybe it spoiled me, lol)

I agree, this storyline has been too unfocused, with too many undefined characters and plot threads that only connected arbitrarily (I’m thinking of Crystal, Honeymoon, & Austin here). I know Joe & Mike like to have several narrative balls in the air at once, but I’m not sure that really works in a medium like a daily sequential coming strip.

Wow! That situation came to a quick climax! Pauly may be a Two-Gun Kid, but is likely to be very inaccurate in his shooting, even at short range. Tracy, on the other hand (just one, thank you), is a crack shot. And Sam is at the ready….

Meanwhile, what will Piotr Volkov, Polar Vortex, do?
