Da Vinci was supposedly able to draw a perfect circle freehand. Mal did a fairly good job, I’d say.
The pictures look ovalish.
Everybody’s a critic. The more important thing is if it’ll still work as intended. If it does, then does it really matter?
It looks good to me! It would be pretty hard to draw a perfect circle that large, freehanded. I like these two together. They sort of egg each other on. Remind me of siblings.
This is why good wizards always carry string, pins, and nails.
Not bad for his very first go at it. I’m sure he’ll get better as he progresses…

Hey that looks like a pretty good freehand circle. Of course I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler so I might be mistaken.
