My boss went on vacation, a hurricane tore the roof off the building. I told him when he got back, that he is the only one I know of, who can say he leaves for a week, and the place falls apart.
I always told my boss that if we were productive during his absence, it would only prove that we don’t need him. By screwing off for a week, we were protecting his job.
