The funny part is where people think that criminals will be “law abiding” and turn in their weapons. It is nearly as funny as the “no guns zones”. Like they are going to pay attention to a sign. Logic.
The over one million U.S. residents who use their legally-owned guns (and that number is less than the middle of the range cited in an Obama-era CDC study) to defend themselves or others from criminals every year have an answer for you – go away. If the gun-banners had gotten their way, they would now be victims instead of survivors. There are around 10,000 firearm-related murders in the US yearly. Of those, somewhere between 70-80 percent are criminal on criminal, primarily in 4 or 5 particular cities, and ought to be called ‘gang violence’, not ‘gun violence’.So, somewhere around 2-3 thousand people are innocent victims of gun-related homicides. The US has a population of 330 million people. As individuals, every one of these victims is priceless and their deaths are tragedies. As indicators of some kind of ‘gun crisis’ – 0.00091% – not even close.Gun bans make the law-abiding population less safe, not more. Just ask the population of London, where the Mayor is now reduced to knife banning, and where the murder rate exceeds New York (where, by the way, guns are extremely hard to get even for just having in your home or business, much less to carry).
Dirk pulled the gun after saying she can’t make him answer her question. The implication is he’d shoot her if she tried to make him answer, which she’d have to do in person, not that he thinks he can shoot her through the screen.

Should we remove ALL the guns, or just the ones used for self-defense?

I’m pretty sure that amendment only applies to the US, not space aliens. Besides, it’s pretty hard to shoot someone through a view screen.

Someone should tell Dirk he can’t shoot through the monitor.

Shouldn’t the line read “how do you AMERICANS say”? After all, it is their crazy American law, not the rest of humanity’s.
