What amazes me is that people think they are owed something because they have. been offended. There is no law that says we have the right to not be offended. We choose whether or not to be offended.
I usually see myself in Earl. Today, I’m with Opal. The difference between me and ‘snowflakes’ is my willingness to accept the rights of others to offend me.
Anybody else see the story about the Dutch guy who is petitioning his government to be declared 49 instead of sixty-something? His support is that age is “fluid.” It’s pretty funny. . .
Freedom of speech is also the freedom to offend people. If you are on a continuous search to be offended, you will likely always find what you are looking for; even when it isn’t there.

It seems a lot of people don’t wake up just waiting to be offended, they actively seek it out

Late at night: “Shut it down & come to bed, dear.” “I can’t. Someone is wrong on the Internet.” Great one from xkcd!

Triggered! And I always thought a trigger was part of a gun. Now it’s a snowflake term.

You’d better be tough as nails or you will wilt on the internet. Oh and don’t be too inclined to anger and such.
