I’m guessing this comma went to Oxford

Often annoying hangers on like hanging chads.

When she’s down, it’s time for a pause; she’s only up when she has possessions. because ♪ she’s living in a material world ♫ and she is a material girl♪

Kind of important to grandma if left out of this sentence: Let’s eat grandma

I would say it’s an apostrophe, but I wouldn’t want to hurt it’s feelings…

Commas give me pause.

Belong, yes, but mostly unwanted and ignored these days.

I read a comment the other day where the author spelled your as you’r. I don’t think it was a joke.

In senior English class (optional) I learned the rules for commas, but only remember this shortcut: when In doubt, leave it out. Works pretty well.

Clearly it’s suffering from ambivalence and perhaps manic depression. When it’s high, it gets possessive about things; then it comes down, and everyone has to pause and deal with it.

Might have been clearer if it was “sometime’s” I feel like I don’t belong…

It’s a tadpole, and it doesn’t belong because it never matured into a frog.
