What does he mean “officially”? I assume he’s a minor. There’s nothing official about it. And what heinous act forced him to leave New Thayer? Gil and Kaz don’t seem the least bit concerned about that.
P3, Why, Kaz? The team has already lost at least 2 games already so 2nd in The Valley is out so forfeiting the rest shouldn’t really matter that much. And with that, basketball practice starts.
Simpsons did it. Homer and Marge rented a small apartment in Waverly Hills so Bart and Lisa could go to a better school. Homer used it as a bachelor pad.
In all reality , Gil’s honor code and moral compass will require him to turn Tiki and Ķaz into the Valley Conference for discipline or as others might say Gil will throw Tiki and Kaz under the bus to save himself .
My mother worked, and when I was in kindergarten, she gave them the address of her office so I could go to school near her office and she didn’t have to get a nanny or something. Now, people seem to think that’s the Crime of the Century.
When Coach Drool of Valley Tech gets wind of this recruiting charade, The Valley Conference Commissioner will impose sanctions on Milford High that will make the death penalty imposed on SMU Football seem like a slap on the wrist.
So is he saying they rent this apartment so that he’s eligible to go to Milford, but nobody actually lives in it? Then no, that does not make him eligible for school or football. Milford ends up winless this season!
Whelp, it looks like the vaguely exciting notion of Tiki being an imposter has given way to the much duller reality of Tiki’s family engaging in low-level fraud. The final panel makes the completely implausible suggestion that the Milford athletic department somehow has higher standards than the rest of the school administration.

School: probably. Football: problematic. Slow sister: irrelevant.

P2, Too legit to quit!

Score one for the Encyclopedia Britannia salesman in P3. Kaz should also know better than to disturb Gil when the new issue of Grit arrives.

Am I missing something? Why did Tiki get kicked out of his previous high school? The one that serves the area where he actually lives?

From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Is it just me or is the Gilfather looking more and more like he’s morphing into Dick Tracy? Minus the detective brains and intuition, of course.

Kaz appears to be “p-o’ed” in panel three. Literally. (trying not to get a hit from the powers that be on this one)
