Nailed that one on the head.As soon as a new product comes out, shortly thereafter(it seems) a newer version is promoted as New, Improved, 50% more, etc.
Been buying one product for years. The cans are getting smaller – 3.5 servings per can rather than 4. The price has increased. I like the brand well enough that I am not changing, but who is that .5 person, or is the .5 person on a diet. What do you do when the recipe calls for 6 ounces and the can is only 5. Why do hot dogs get packaged in one quantity and buns in another. Etc…….

Also 20% less product… 40% “gentler” … (meaning it contains 40% less active ingredient… )
but ya know… it smells like roses and twilight, or some ¿&@$! thing.

Hey, why improve on something you know that works?
No one’s forcing you to buy it.

The point is to convince more people to buy more of it.

I’ve seen products touting “new packaging!”
