I didn’t realize thievery was a side effect of smoking weed.

During my college years I once killed coke machine that didn’t give me a drink. The sign that said “Have a Nice Day!” after not giving me my drink pushed me over the edge. I tore the machine apart and gave everyone free cokes. I had to pay for the repairs; $50 which back in 72 was a lot of money. Still, it felt great.

Feral vending machines are quite dangerous. South American vending machines sometimes make homes in the old giant slot tunnels.

I stopped for a picture with the 419.99 mile marker coming back from a vacation in Colorado. I WOULD have stolen it if it hadn’t been broad daylight. I like to imagine that stoners show up to steal the 420 sign, stop at the 419.99 one, walk 0.01 miles past it, find nothing, and go home, figuring some other stoners beat them to it.
