The Flying Karamozov Brothers have nothing on a working mother.

This looks like my wife. My job kept me out of the country for months at a time; and she was juggling three kids and a full-time job. I guess military spouses have it even tougher.

And what she’s doing isn’t the half of it. Just too much other stuff to add.

Any time I see someone with twins in a stroller, “One more and you could learn to juggle.”

The proper response is, “It’s already a juggling act.”

We’ve been married 47 years, 23 of it spent in the Navy. My wife once informed me after a particularly difficult 3-year sea duty tour, that I had been home a total of 180 days leaving her with two kids 7 and 14. It was as if she felt I didn’t realize that. OK I didn’t, and I really didn’t have a good excuse why.

It is very impressive. But … Maybe … She just should slow down a bit?
