Those Guinness in the cooler often scream this out to me, also my friend.

I can’t find my obscurity and I can’t remember where I last saw it.

It’s only cool if it’s too obscure for you to have heard of it.

I remember reading “Point Counter Point” and “Brave New Word,” during my teens. Aldous Huxley’s novels were good and entertaining science fiction, that were satires of our modern culture.

Is this why Huxley was never involved in a YourFaceTubes XXX-Rated video?

Peanuts also thrive in the dark, whch is where we’ve come to have celery sticks wth peanut butter.

Our dark is obsurity’s light.

Frog Applause makes sure we are out of our rut and on our way every day, like vinegar on a potato chip. And I mean ‘rut’ in the sense of a furrow or narrow depression which limits forward motion or maneuverability.

The Celery Stalks at Midnight is a children’s book series written by Deborah Howe and James Howe, featuring a vampire rabbit named Bunnicula who sucks the juice out of vegetables.

I like the variety of art in this strip. Today’s looks like it was drawn on pressure transfer paper like that used to make backups of checks.

Some of the old characters are making appearances anew these days.

I love obscurity because, like celery, it takes more energy to digest than the calories it provides, always leaving you hungry for more.

I eat celery. In the dark or in the light. As trivial as it is, it is more nourishing than an equal amount of genuineness….
