Ah, the Voice of Parental Authority. A few years ago my family was out to dinner and one of my nephews was acting up. My sister and B-I-L couldn’t get him to sit still. Then my normally easygoing Dad said in The Voice: “Sit. Down.”I don’t remember what my nephew did, but my sisters and I (all in our 40s) all sat up straight and perfectly still. :)
