Hilarious! This is one of Jimmy’s best, and the expression on Luddy’s face is classic.

My first thought was that Luddy was getting ideas that would spoil some fun for Arlo’s inner child.

Thanks guys. I have a 24# cat, I should have gotten this one.

This kind of feeds my theory of why cats freak at the sight of cucumbers. Their brain tells them: “This is the shape of a mouse poop. The size of the mouse who did that…” and then they freak out.

I am near Chicago and buried in snow. Leaf jokes are so yesterday.

We had a cat who, instead of snubbing food he didn’t like, would try to cover it by scratching around it on the kitchen floor.

Buried toxic waste.

Never jump into an unknown pile of leaves. They may be over something dangerous.

Cats cover their scat as a protective measure.

Well, this one time, my landlady and I were planting her garden. We were going down each row. I would open a hole and she would drop in the seeds and I would cover the hole. I had just dug a hole when my Siamese cat came running across the yard, squatted over the hole I had just dug and did her business! Then she proudly marched away as if having her human dig a hole for her was her just due. I turned to my laughing landlady and said “Free fertilizer…”

Sadly, I think I need to delete this cartoon and move on. I’m having to work too hard lately to understand it, and that’s not the purpose of the “comics”.
