When we visited England, it was the only dialect we couldn’t understand.

MMM is one of the great comic strip characters. He’s a bit like Zonker Harris; always a hoot, always blissfully out of step with everyone else and equally blissfully unaware of it. He can brought in at any time because of who he is. He’s versatile. But you can’t have him around all the time. He consumes the scenery.

I think the proper response is some sort of expletive only allowed in R Rated movies.

2006. When United was the dominant Manchester team and City were the ‘noisy neighbors’. Forward to 2018. Fifteen games into the season. City, 13 wins, 2 draws. Outscoring their opponents 45-7. United languishing in 8th place. How times have changed. MMM is a happy cat these days.

Hard to believe 3M is using the same language as Shakespeare, Dickens, Olivier & the Monty Python Gang.

Having taught in Manchester, I can assure you that no-one in the Republic of Mancunia spoke like that – ever. As an English teacher, I am still trying to work out which bits of which dialects the wee dude is copying. I am not a City fan, but even in the 80s, when City were marginally worse than United, most of the kids I taught were City fans. I miss the Kippax and the sardonic humour of the blue half of Manchester.
