Emotional support squirrel — what a nutty idea.

I don’t remember where, but I saw something recently online about an emotional support squirrel. Not sure if it another comic or somewhere more potentially news like.

I have never thought of a squirrel as a very helpful animal, unless you are talking about Rocky of course.

You are not aloowed peanuts on many airlines now because someone might be allergic!

As if they’ll give you peanuts on a flight anymore…

All a passenger could say about this story is….“Aw NUTS”!

Peanuts? Fly First Class do we?

airlines are starting to ban all such critters. my favorite was a woman who tried to bring an emotional support peacock on a flight.

I have an emotional support amoeba and two emotional support imaginary friends.

Usually not one for more government regulation, but we definitly need regulation and penalties on support animals and service animals. Idiot people buying vests and certificates on line, just so they can bring FooFoo onto planes and into restaurants.

Southwest won’t serve peanuts. Only pretzels.

I think that the whole emotional support animal system has gotten squirrely.

I have an emotional support spouse who also tends to hoard all the peanuts.

That lousy squirrel ate another passenger’s emotional support peanuts!

No more emotional support animals on Delta!

The key problem here is the transformation of a want into a need. Feeling that you’re owed is nuts.

The ADA only recognizes dogs and miniature horses as a service animal. Thing is, you apparently cannot ask the owner for the animal’s certification. And you can buy a vest that says service animal quite easily.

If the animal does not behave, is easily distracted or behaves aggressively, then it is not a trained support animal. That is not something you want to find out when you’ve reached cruising altitude.
