The problem with that is that she could learn to toss them in the air and catch them in her mouth, like people do with peanuts or raisins. How about a smaller size, say about wrist size, instead? That way she couldn’t pick them up.
Is it just me, or has anybody else looked at portraits of Victorian-era women, posing in those outfits with the massive collars, and wondered if they’d been chewing on their stitches?

OK, but then she couldn’t even eat carrots and celery sticks to stay alive.
Cones, even on dogs, aren’t to prevent eating and drinking, they’re to stop them from chewing their stitches.
Might work for biting fingernails…. cookies, not so much.

Kid is at least thinking of solutions. My problem is, the cookies usually are gone by the time I make up my mind how to stop.
