Hmm, is this still a dream or is Eden Colony so insular that it’s not just the children who haven’t experienced many of the horrors other colonies have? The green sprout Kirbee noticed outside the window is either a clue that what we’re watching isn’t reality or a sign that the outside world is beginning to recover from WWIII.
Perhaps.. it is their reality. Remember, Wally is an Engineer…I recognize that internal focused fervor…Before Wally first came to Endtown, he had rigged a trap for the Topsiders, using what was around him. He devising a plan!
Writing:all work and no play makes wally a dull boy;all work and no play makes wally a dull boy;all work and no play makes wally a dull boy;all work and no play makes wally a dull boy….
Time for a new adventure as Wally and company leave this community to search for more life and signs, perhaps, that the world is starting to recover and life is adapting. (course the plants could be man (or Endtown) eating plants.)
Heavy irony in the last frame: Wally’s little group “live in their own weird little world” coming from a guy who has likely never left Eden since the meltdown and doesn’t know squat about the world Topside and the other colonies.

Forgot Wally is a brilliant engineer. He’ll get that project completed. With rubber bands and a few poker chips, no doubt.

He’s an engineer. He’s lining up the angles and finding out what scary thing they’re really digging tunnels for.

Maybe Wally’s making a list of what they’ll need on the trek.

Garden of Eden or bio-station GEDN unit 40. Where it all started. Where it may start again.
