Very practical – The Three Wise Cats were ridding the manger of rodents.

I wonder what the three wiseasses will bring?

“You got your Jesus Christ Superstar in my Cats!” “No, you got your Cats in my Jesus Christ Superstar!”

“Oh Wise Cats, eh? Why, I oughta!”

I guess it is the thought that counts.

If cats didn’t love us, they wouldn’t dump small dead critters in front of us. Anyway, they may not have brought gold and frankincense, but I bet they brought plenty of pyrrh.

Still better than myrrh…

I have mixed felines about this.

Amazing! One of the few non-Caucasian depictions of the holy family I have seen. Dave got it right, Jesus would have been dark skinned.

Unless, you weren’t hungry.

Actually, according to Matthew the Iranian astrologers went to “Mary’s house” in Bethlehem, apparently some two years after the actual birth. No hint that they were in the stable at the actual time of birth. (Both Matthew’s and Luke’s infancy stories are rife with absurdities, and incompatible absurdities at that.)

Those are quite practical in a cat’s opinion. You do have to eat so they sacrificed their dinners! Such thoughtful kitties.
