Of all the characters who didn’t start out as babies (or as a puppy), Violet probably changed the most over time. (Charlie Brown had at least some depressing days even in the earliest strips, and of course, the first one of all, Shermy’s legendary, “How I hate him!”) Of course, even at her meanest and most rotten, Violet couldn’t beat Lucy at infighting……..
