Another question: why did the next little piggy have none? Was it because the previous little piggy wasn’t willing to share?

Because eating roast pork would make it a cannibal?

Because the little piggy who went to the market swung by Arby’s on the way home?

Pigs are carnivores.

You want he should eat ham?

The universal question.

Obviously, he’s never seen Hannibal…

At least he wasn’t having pork chops.

Pigs will eat ANYTHING.

And this little piggy was slaughtered, cured, and turned into a rash of delicious maple bacon.

I love how the colorist has made Schroeder a blonde all over his head just because he was in the later strips. In these early strips, he only had a suggestion of a curl on his forehead, sort of like CB.

Enjoying itself, I dare say.

I always wondered about the roast beef line, myself, especially as a kid.

I never understood that one, especially the last line, "And this little piggy went ‘wee, wee, wee’ all the way home. Wee Wee what?

Porcines are omnivores mainly.

There is a variation to the rhyme, that the last "little piggy cried ‘wee wee wee, I can’t find my way home.’ "
