Looks like they ended up going with Charlie Brown’s plan after all
Saw that one coming
Why even ask for Charlie Brown’s opinion if they’re doing the opposite?
I just don’t like her
Did Snoopy belong to the entire gang in the beginning?
I know so many people like this. They ask for your preference and then choose the other option, whatever it is.
They’re lucky that didn’t make him see red!
And yet Snoopy’s doghouse did end up being red.
At least in the Sunday strips. The dailies weren’t originally colorized.
Not that it matters since it ends up in a red color anyway down the line.
I wonder if this joke was new when this was first published. Probably not
Schroeder is so cute in his little painting overalls! :D
Do you want cherry or apple pie? Cherry? Too bad; we only have apple.
She might’ve worded it wrong but been entirely correct. Maybe she and Schroeder each voted yellow and…. oh wait, they wouldn’t need his vote, then.
I have a friend whose sense of direction is so reliably bad that when her family gets lost, they ask her which way to go and then go the opposite way. Apparently Patty believes the same is true about Charlie Brown’s artistic judgments.
Chuck winds up getting the last laugh.
Should have said Yellow. How is Snoopy going to fly a yellow plane against the Red Baron?
Go ahead, paint it yellow. He can use that as the base coat for when he repaints it red. It’ll make the red really pop.
A rather unsettling experience for Charlie Brown.
That’s Charlie Brown’s luck. Ask for his opinion and go with the opposite

Sroopy is Chuck’s dog—why are they painting it in the first place?
