I remember shopping with my husband & older daughter when she was a baby. All of a sudden, she started pointing and saying, “Bob! Bob!” We looked around but couldn’t see anything that matched anything close to a “bob”. As we got closer to a large stuffed bear, she smiled, reached, & said, “Bob!” She’s 18 now, and still has “Bob” the bear. My husband takes the “You name it, you claim it” pretty seriously. LOL
Surely, you do not mean Snoopy, and I do not recall any cookie named Dottie. It could be a girl from school, a female relative, or perhaps his Daddy is with someone new, hm.
And then years later he’ll be able to quote the gospel of Luke from the King James translation of the Bible from memory when Charlie asks “does any one really know what Christmas is all about?”
