If you’ve got a decent owner, “a dog’s life” is pretty darn good.

We all know that Snoopy will never be ‘Just a Dog’. WWI Flying Ace, Joe Cool, best friend of Woodstock, and Space Beagle are some that come to mind.

I’ve seen that look on my dog’s face.

goodness knows, if I led the life my terrier leads, I’d be way less stressed out…

And we all know what she’ll always be.

In a later instalment, Snoopy was contemplating on how some are born humans, while others are dogs. In the final panel he said, “It doesn’t seem fair…how come I’m the lucky one?”

He can run around naked and pee and poop wherever he wants and taking a nap at 10:00 am is no big deal to others.

That’s better than being a Lucy Van Pelt. Five cents please.

For many dogs it is, but not for all, sadly…..
