Dogs like skritches. Most of them aren’t keen on pats.

I’m with Snoopy! A pat on the head is not a reward, a piece of food is!

Now I’m confused! Is this still Lucy – or is this…PATty?

I think he would rather have a treat!

The petting zoo here had a bull that was pretty tame, until all the kids started petting him on the head. It made him violent, and they had to put him down.

“Oh, good grief!” that’s CB’s dog alright ……

A pat on the head doesn’t fill a puppy tummy…

Another one I remember from the old collections back in the ’60’s and ’70’s.
