As in the immortal words of “WKRP Cincinnati”,,,I thought turkey could fly. How did they get up onto the branch? lol

Don’t worry, they wouldn’t gobble you up.

Those turkeys look like wild bikers.

At least these three made it through the holidays

They can run as fast as they fly and that’s going some!

If you’re wondering how the turkeys got up there, found the following: “Wild turkeys can fly unlike their domesticated ones, are agile fliers.”

Turkeys are not that articulate.

Or the Jack Daniels troupe for that matter.

Looks like our guys but all our turkeys are real Sweeties. And the little ones are a sight to see. Really adorable!

As Wild Turkeys, you should probably offer then a drink, and no Old Crow.

Well, there goes the Neighborhood.

In my neighborhood, the Big Guys on the block are a flock of Sandhill Cranes which roam the streets and lawns.

They have lost all Fear. Even Cars don’t bother them, they just give you a “Look” and keep on walking across the street, right in front of you. Slowly.

More like some kinda buzzards.

I once saw a row of turkey vultures perched on the top of a barn’s roof. It is very disturbing to see such a large gathering of birds that big in one place.

I once had a wild turkey fly across the road a few meters in front of my car in the early morning hours. That was a bit scary. It was one of the larger ones I have seen.
