You think winters are long now? Just wait 10,000 years when the winter solstice is at apogee (furthest point in the earth’s orbit around the sun) Rather than at perigee (closest) as it is now.
Ugh, not to me. It seems like the oppressive, sweltering heat and humidity comes earlier and stays later than it used to. I like to go outside and be able to breathe, not to mention sleep comfortably at night. I’m weird for loving this weather, I know….

Winters here have warmed since the 1970’s – an average of 5 degrees the weatherman said last night. The 20 below days have dropped by about a third.
