Happens to all of us, Aunty.

I was quite shy when I was younger. Now I find myself talking to perfect strangers.

In your case, Aunty, that was around age 12.

I’ve done that, with a really good joke. My prospective in-laws didn’t appreciate it. The engagement didn’t survive. I’ve always been glad it worked out that way.

I’ve been in that sort of dilemma here on GoComics.

“Boy, I’ll probably get into trouble if I post this. But I think it’s funny. But I don’t want to get banned. But it’s funny!”

I can identify. But I still have a filter in place to keep it clean, although sometimes suggestive, and from being too gross. Sometimes things get pass the filter.

Just as long as you don’t start something that’ll finish you. Sometimes the smallest things can get us into the biggest trouble & wagging such a small muscle as the human tongue the wrong way to the wrong person can have bad results.

That’s the shrinking of your frontal lobe the gate keeper between your brain and your mouth. When it shrinks it doesn’t affect your intelligence. It does affect what comes out of your mouth. When there is less filter all kinds of embarrassing &/or offensive things will you blurt. Last to form, first to start shrinking.

I agree with Aunty! I’m 65 now! The HE double toothpicks with proper behavior, speech, etc. I find myself saying what I think and being honest! What the heck? :-D
