The one time I was tempted to go downhill skiing was when my church youth group went the weekend before I opened in “Fiddler on the Roof.” There’s an old show-biz saying with great application to skiing … Considered cross-country but couldn’t coordinate myself on a NordicTrack at the gym.

I’ve never tried skiing either. I think it takes more coordination that I’ve got!

Try cross-country skiing. Less dangerous and more fun than downhill.
