Ahh, the good ol days, when cats would dress up and pose for the camera after a victory. Not like TODAY’S cats, who are too busy with their Tidy Cat and their Fancy Feast and their track ball chasers…

That is a really creepy picture, though.

I think it’s one of those Victorian memento mori pictures – but I’ve never seen a cat as the subject before.

People who dress up their pets in “cute” outfits just may be closet sadists.

But I knew even without being told that the little mousie was no rat.

And, so okay, it is cute….
