She made the mistake of losing her cool. She might remind him of consequences. As a kid, he can’t see far enough into the future to predict her telling his parents, and the big trouble he’ll be in. He only sees the moment, and his imagined victory working out for him.

On Saturday, when Hobbes locks the door from inside the bathroom, the doorknob is on the right. Today, when Rosalyn is trying to open the door from outside the bathroom, the doorknob is again on the right.

After is latest spoiled brat episode, the next time they need a baby sitter, Rosalyn should late about 15 minutes and then call and say she can’t make it.No matter what she gets paid, the brat needs to learn some manners. Maybe she should flush his head down the toilet.

It’s a terrible thing when a child says “mom always liked you best” meaning not a sibling, but the baby sitter. (With apologies to the Smothers Brothers.)
