Lisa, I can see the logic here considering that the trumpster is a far greater threat to the nation than the people wanting to enter the nation.

You have to be a Demoncrat or you wouldn’t make such a stupid comment! President Trump is no threat, he hasn’t killed anyone, but there are many illegal aliens who sneaked into our country and killed many of our American citizens. And you see nothing wrong with that??? What about the drugs being sneaked over the border by the drug kingpins, the drugs which so many of our citizens have become addicted to and died from using? So that’s all okay with you? It isn’t okay with me, or with millions of other Americans! We NEED THE WALL! President Trump, MAGA!

Lisa Benson is a most of the time a loyal Republican — loyal Republican as she sees their policies — cartoonist. Her artwork is quite good, sometimes excellent, but sometimes loyalty overrides common sense. If we had an evidence-based government it would have long ago done sometimes about distinguishing between fact and fancy … and most of the Resident’s remarks and the distorted political propaganda on the media would be labeled as opinion or falsehoods or satire, not to be taken seriously. For over 230 years our Congress has taken the path of least resistance and treated the US Congress as a battleground instead of a true congress where the hard work of debate, collaboration, and cooperation using verifiable data — hard work that corporations and business do every day — is postponed session after session until a crisis is perceived by one and all and then a hasty temporary solution is pieced together. Just once I would like to see Lisa propose compromise from the right to set an example for the left … to show that we should be loyal to our country first not our party.
