Unrealistic! Who names a dog “Rover”?? And have you (or Mr Wilson) ever actually seen a kid wearing a propeller beanie? Talking cat is a little questionable, too, but on the basis of my experience, the sentiment is realistic.
Even though these are reruns, this one is one of my favorites. I had to give my sweet rescue dog back to God a few months ago, and have since rescued another. He is filling her pawprints wonderfully, and i’m finding that my sentiment is the same as in the ‘toon’ above: I hope he and I are together for a very long, very good, time.

The reality is the cat will probably live twice as long, less heart ache with felines.
